Experience
Richard specialises in medical gases with more than 22 years’ experience. From the design of artificial prosthesis, he became a research and project engineer for medical gas products with Ohmeda (MEDAES) before assuming the role of Training and Asuris Services Manager. Richard joined BOC in 2004 to set up their Edexcel approved training centre and went on to manage BOC Healthcare’s Medical Engineering Services team, he has conducted over 100 AP & CP (MGPS) training courses. Within his position he also provided AE services and is the AE for several NHS Trusts and Private Hospitals. Richard has recently left BOC and set up Medical Engineering Systems Limited to dedicate his time to customer focused activities. Focusing on AE (MGPS), remote AP for smaller sites or AP cover for holidays, providing compliance audits, risk assessments, project management, drawings, consultancy, MGPS training and design Richard brings extensive knowledge and skills to assist your team.
